Eight Hundreds

I got through my longest track workout tonight: 4 miles of 800s.

I felt very good and cut down from 2:31: 2:31, 2:31, 2:28, 2:29, 2:25, 2:28, 2:24, 2:21. It all felt fairly easy as a result of the large (8 person) pack, but the weather was warm and humid so we progressed easily. Dutch Paul graced us with his company since he is in town for he summer.

This week I hope to be back north of 60 after a dismal training week (last week) in Las Vegas. Working 12-15 hour days isn't ideal for training, nor is 105 degree concrete sans shade.

Yes, I realize this post is lame. I just got back to town and will elaborate more with musings on my upcoming runs...
