The Other Side

The sky dawned in the eastern horizon and the sun cast a golden hue on the bamboo. And, I eyed the golden bamboo. Longing to be on the other side. Just out of view, hidden behind the trees sat the Trolly Trail. As a healthy fox, I would meander up and down this footpath numerous times a week sometimes with the great Karl Dusen in tow. The Trolley Trail basically runs from the White Flint Mall to the NIH. I suppose it goes even further, but beyond the mall, the trail is basically a sidewalk along a major road and not a hidden footpath tucked between neighborhoods and forests of bamboo. I drive my knees hard and hit the heavens and soon my "on" is over. I pant and try to catch my breath while never taking my eyes off the bamboo. Soon, I'll be on the other side. I am getting closer. Liberation is near.

I finally updated my 2010 Training Log on the top right hand side of the screen. It was a quite depressing venture, but now one can see how much of a hit this injury has been...assuming the public can view it?

My yearly averages and totals were shot too! I have run the last three days in a row now and no pain, thank god for drugs. Now if only there was a drug for fitness.....
