The Vacation

I'm on a vacation, but it's an unwelcomed one. I haven't run for two days and usually I'd know if I am getting better, but not this time. Although the pain has subsided, I have residual affects of whatever has been bothering me...especially in the mornings. Right now, it appears as if it's unlikely that I'll run Twilighter and instead opt for the rest. My legs are hungry and ready for fight, but they're not ready for running...I don't think. As much as it has sucked to not run over the past couple of days, it's been nice to go to bed at 11 and wake up at 8.

However, without 12 miles, the day seems empty.

hey just thought you might want to check this new blog. Just a friend who happens to be training for the Olympic trials in the marathon. Good stuff. Good luck with your training!

Mr. Fox. Keep your mind both calm and hungry at the same time. Better days will arrive.

Thanks Pekka. Luckily I typically don't stay injured for long. Usually it's tweaks that result from running too much and/or too hard. I hope this is past me...or passes me soon.
