Shutting it Off

After a lackluster week of training last week, I upped the ante early this week and threw my legs back into the mix...now I am shutting it off. It's time to rest. I ran 10 on Thursday morning but only 5 on Friday. I'll probably run another 5-6 on Saturday. All I can do now is wait.

From here on out my focus is entirely on Cherry Blossom. Eat right. Drink right. Maybe stretch. The money is in the bank and it's been making interest all year. Now I need to make a major withdrawal.

I'll post my desired race plan tomorrow.

MY 10 MILE RACE PROGRESSION:
Fall 2006 - Army Ten Miler - 53:22 - 5:20 pace
Spring 2007 - Cherry Blossom - 52:53 - 5:17 pace
Spring 2008 - Cherry Blossom - 52:37 - 5:15 pace
Fall 2008 - Army Ten Miler - 52:26 - 5:14 pace
Spring 2009 - Cherry Blossom - 51:29 - 5:09 pace
Spring 2009 - Broad Street Run - 51:15 - 5:07 pace
