So Far, So Good
Although I'm not totally out of woods yet with respect to the knee, I was able to soldier through a week of training without incident.
I ran 8 on both Monday and Tuesday. Monday dawned cool, Tuesday not so much.
I took Wednesday off as a precaution, but ran 8 on Thursday, 10 on Friday, 12 on Saturday and 10 on Sunday. That's 56 in 6 days.
The only thing worth noting was the last 3 miles of my 12 miler on Saturday - 6:00, 5:35, 5:25.
Fall is definitely in the air and it feels good to get after it. I might jump in a low key race next weekend (since track workouts seem to derail my training), but we will see how this week goes first.
