I've returned from the mid-west and hope to "jump start" back into my training after yet another two days off (in a row).
My mission is to execute the training "vigorously" albeit wisely over the next 5 days. I've been training for CB since November and I'll be damned if I'll let anything distract me from my personal victory.
I ran 9 this evening and got my feet wet again. It was quite warm and I probably hadn't hydrated enough after a day of travel. Despite a chalky mouth my pace was quick. Tomorrow I'll run twice and attempt to run 2.5 miles at 10 mile pace.
The heat is on. Damn the torpedoes. Patience...attack.
