A Leg Issue?

Since Sunday, I've been battling a strange cramp/spasm on the side of my right thigh (flashback to me "working" cramp at Einstein Bagels on Sunday and Monday). Usually I get these pains after a long run and they disappear, but mine has been present after even shorter runs AND I think it is getting worse. This causes me concern. Yesterday morning I hobbled to the metro while digging my palm into my leg. Those who saw my face must have wondered...

I've been foam rollering the area (resulting in terrifying screams from the FOX DEN which scare my neighbors) and massaging it the best I can. I may simply need to rest. I took Thursday morning off and might take the afternoon off...and I am going to uptick the water intake as I've felt a bit more dehydrated than usual.

I've actually been battling all sorts of little leg issues all winter, but nothing like this. Running in tights is great but it seems to restrict my leg movement and bother my right knee and right side.

This is no deal breaker and I'd rather beat it back now than let it linger. I have 16 days until my season begins. Any thoughts as to what it might be?
