The Return of the Achilles and His Friend the Knee

After squashing the insurgency in my hip, two other old foes have teamed together to try and beat me. The left Achilles and the right knee, who had surrendered last autumn, have decided to join hands and attack me at the same time. They waited until I was tired, after 100 miles, and I had no energy to fight back. They waited and now have thrown themselves upon me with all their might. I can run through both, but it might be worth while to scale things back now before they are inflamed more.

This morning I ran an easy 7.5 and this afternoon an easy 6.5...for a 14 mile day. I feel much better (aside from the aforementioned pains) than I did earlier this week.

Stand down, then attack.
