Not So Fast...

Not a great run, but it is, at least, a PR*. Bert led wire to wire and died on the wire at 15:00...I fell off after 3200m and finished with a 15:12. Reaves ran 15:19; a big PR. I definitely fell apart big time in the last mile. No excuses. I need to get tougher. 74s and 75s are really not acceptable...but I suppose I ran the best I did today since I had a limited kick.

Weather - 35 degrees, windy (10+ mph)

My splits are below. The three of us had the same splits until 3200m (9:37-9:39).

1:09 - 1:09
2:22 - 1:13
3:34 - 1:12
4:46 - 1:12

5:58 - 1:12
7:10 - 1:12
8:24 - 1:14
9:38 - 1:14

10:53 - 1:15
12:09 - 1:14
13:24 - 1:15
14:37 - 1:13

15:12 - 0:35

9:02 at 3K
3:03 for the last 1K

* we are debating whether we can call this a PR since it was a "time trial"...my vote is yes. Anything 2 mile and up done as a time trial can/should be considered a legit time.

MORE on this later...pictures to come
