Last night I considered this test a major blunder. After running 3 x 400m (400) my injury area totally ached up and I was visibly limping. Shuffling to Booeymongers for a burger after cooling down was downright impossible and this seemed like a major set-back, but as I crawled out of bed this morning the limp was gone and the pain had subsided.
In other news, 73-second 400s seemed easy (I ran by feel, but was trying to run between 75-80) and the Wednesday workout had a record 17 runners in attendance.
It's fair to write a more conclusive report later today once this has had a chance to settle. At dawn this morning the pain had dissipated significantly and I suspect that trend to continue.
AFTERNOON UPDATE - pain has dissipated. We will see how the run goes on Friday morning.

Is it a cardinal sin for a female to comment on a GRC blog? Oh well... so sorry it didn't go well, but whatever you are doing to at least stay in shape is clearly working! I'm going to start eating a lot more burgers.
You think booeymonger burgers provide the vitamins and minerals necessary for your bones to heal? Snap out of it Red Fox!
I hate to say it, but I agree 100% with Bert's comment
Well, you can't run from the truth. That being said Red Fox, we are drinking beer tonight right?
No Jess, we need more women. Seriously.
I have been taking Vitamin D supplements.
And yes, we're drinking beer...in 2 hours. Or sooner?
Here's the plan: Bert can spike your beer with liquid iron and you can bribe the Paris Hilton types with burgers. Everybody wins. Team Red, White, and Blue? Hmm maybe I'm the one drinking...
