Faux Day Off

Returning to my old routine, I made Monday a faux (not fox!) day off...that is, I ran on Monday night rather than Monday morning in an effort to give myself more than 24 hours rest (ie - 36 hours of rest). I ran with this guy JJ who I work with. JJ and a friend recently finished an awesome adventure movie about a kayak trip from Alaska to Seattle...conveniently titled PADDLE TO SEATTLE. You can see the trailer at the link. We hit the National Mall at night. I've actually never run the Mall in the dark, but found it quite nice; plenty of street light and half the route was on the limestone road that borders the monuments. I saw the Lululemon running group out in full force and may join up with them next Monday. I got in 7.

On Tuesday morning I ran with Dusen along Rock Creek and got in 8. I feel pretty good.

Random blogged you and I like your training log devotion. You should update your GRC profile to get that sub 15 5k on there. (I remember numbers to easily)

Jake, Lululemon run = mostly chicks wearing dope outfits?

Might have to take the MARC down to DC

Mr Beston - you are correct! I hope Mr Silverman sees this comment, as it is HIS duty to amend these profiles...(sigh)

RM - see you next Monday?
