The sun was scorching and the humidity was at its typical Washington worse, but I did get a good slow run in on Thursday evening. I took the connector trail from the CCT to Lock 5 on the Canal and ran down to Fletcher's Boat House, before looping back north along the Palisades Trail. The entire loop is a hair under 12 miles, but I added on a little when I was done. I was surprised to see virtually no one along the Canal between Lock 5 and Fletchers.
My legs felt a bit heavy from the workout so I decided to make my Friday morning run an easy shake out...I ran a pedestrian 7 miles and called it a day. Very humid and hazy out there today.
