I thought I had run on every trail between Bethesda and the Potomac, but today I discovered a NEW fox path off (of all places) the Capital Crescent Trail. I had actually run on part of this trail before and the new addition didn't go very far, but I'm always excited to find a new trail however minuscule it might be. The trail took me down into a giant ravine with huge rock walls. All the foliage was jungle-green. I felt like I was on the set of King Kong. Got in a steady 9 miles.
A faux day off (mentioned below) is when I run in the morning on one day and the afternoon/evening on the next day...in case anyone cared.

My stomach was in knots. Thanks for clarifying.
Well...now you know.
